I see where people in Georgia are mad at the state legislator for not handling the snow better. I bet 50% of the drivers do not even have all season tires on their cars. Bet there are lawsuits coming. LOL

    Evening all:
I can see why the ice and snow causes such a major problem in the South; they just aren't prepared for it. They don't experience enough of that kind of weather to justify buying all the equipment needed for wintery conditions.

:yay:Finally got a refund from a Co. that was playing games and didn't want to give me my money back.
It's possible that a letter to a SAG office, an E-mail to a company that got the returned item, and mentioning the next letter was going to the FTC with full proof of the return, a call to that same Co. by UPS to confirm that they had an employee who signed for the return, and a call to the Mfg. of the product giving them some other info about the Co. that didn't want to give me my money back!
I wonder what changed their mind about a refund?

In NC there are a lot of people without all season tires I bet. I know in Georgia this would be true.

I did not find this post funny at all.

The first time the Vietnam Conflict hit home for me was when I was in the 9th grade. A good friend of mine, a Marine, lost the back of his head to a Bouncing Betty. He is buried in Arlington and I visit his grave whenever I visit Arlington. His brother is married to my cousin. The post brought back sad memories. He was so young and a great guy.

Morning All...a friend e-mailed me this site. pretty good for going back in time with music.
    http://www.1959bhsmustangs.com/VideoJukebox.htm

Have figure out how to download some of the songs to put on my MP3.

The issues in the south with the snow and ice bring back memories from January 1981 when the family and myself were in Texas and Louisiana. The roads were coated with ice from an ice storm so they sent dumps out with sand and dumped it on the roads. Felt like I was driving on the beach there was so much sand(even a few sand dunes[IMG]). In "The Big Easy" it was 20 degrees...brrrrrr.

Be interesting to know if the unit is replaced does the dealer or Toyota pay for the repair. unfortunately for you, the consumer, it is a colossal waste of time and a source of a lot of aggravation.

At least 2 more months of questionable weather then hopefully warmer weather will back[IMG]. Saturday they are calling for 55 here, but rain will be with it[IMG]. Had half a dozen robins flying around the front of the house yesterday, they must be having a hard time getting food with the snow still on the ground. Haven't seen any today.
