It sounds like Seattle has invaded NYC. In Detroit against Pitt we were outnumbered big time .. they interviewed waitresses from a few different places who all said it's been 5-10:1 Seahawks fans to Broncos fans.

    Go Hawks!

Meh, pretty sure broncs are bringing a couple things to the table that'll have the hawks working. If the hawks win or lose, its gonna be fight, neither team is gonna have a walk in the park tomorrow.

Btw FF, you been to the rock n roll history museum there under the space needle?

Yes I have a couple of times, cool place.

I agree it's gonna be a good game. I'm hanging my hat on the overall physicality of the Hawks, I don't think the Broncos have played a team that will bring it from all 53 men like the Hawks/49ers do.

But, Welker really worries me... I think we'll handle the outside "ok" but I'm worried about the inside crossing routes. I just hope Kam can deliver a couple major shots to him.

I was born and raised in western Washington. Still have close ties to the area. But I'm going broncos this time around. Any other team I'd say hawks lol

If Kam can get a couple good shots in on him, Welker might not come back in the game. His noggin hasn't been too durable this season. But, I'm not sure Kam can keep up with him. That's gonna be one of the biggest mismatches of the game, in my opinion.

If Peyton can get the ball out of his hands as quickly (and accurately)as normal, the broncos win. The LOB is one of the best secondaries in the NFL, so if they can make Peyton hold the ball longer than he wants and let the D line get to Peyton, the Hawks win.

    My 2 cents.

If the hawks review the tapes of the saints/colts SB, and follow that strategy, hawks win.

Kam won't be on him solo very often but he will be in the area and closing fast. Welker will be picked up by Thurmond/Lane usually first, which is a good match up for Seattle. Thurmond would be an above average starting corner on any other team. I'm sure the LB's and Safeties have been instructed to hit hard and often, no holding back. They've already said that if Welker tries any pick plays it's worth it to them to hit him and leave the receiver to be picked up. Kam will be focused with a LB on Thomas, they'll try to shut him down like they usually do Davis or Graham.

Walter Jones, Hall of Fame. Some say the best LT in the history of the NFL.

    In his entire career:

23 sacks allowed (two in his last game when he was injured)
    9 holding calls

I think the Hawks need to worry about their offense more than their defense. It will be a battle on defense and they need to really keep the pressure on Manning. Their offense is what worries me. They start off too slow and fall behind offense. That's fine with some teams, but the Broncos are strong and will keep scoring rather than dying down and letting the Hawks catch back up. If Wilson can get a good enough rhythm and open up the running lanes for Lynch, they will do great things. It just depends on how the weather is as well. Wind will favor the Hawks and could be a major tipping point in the game. I'm super pumped and can't wait for the game. So happy the Hawks pulled it off this year and can't wait for them to bring the Lombardi back to Seattle.

Is this the year that the Seahawks finally claim a ring ??

Are they a team of destiny ??

Is it indeed their calling to punk the Orange Slush ??`

Or will Manning rise to the challenge like so many times before ??

Is it the Super Bowl yet? ;)

I don't care, and I don't know why I noticed it, but I happen to and thought it was funny.
