    Has similar qualities to dry ice... Dry ice doesn't melt, instead it goes from solid to gas, skipping the liquid state.
    Nevertheless.... Strange, If you didn't just have a party and dump dry ice outside.

    basically the snow outside is just like the ice that would pack in a freezer.
