Or hella 100 watt hi/lo I ran those for about 3 months then got HIDs. Just take the bullet and get a kit off of DDM, they are probably the best place to get a kit from.

In order to get a little bit brighter and a bit more blue in my headlights, I use the Philips Vision Plus H4's (I think that's the right size). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them for sale in the US, but you can buy them from a company in UK.

    http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=45

They give off about 50% more light, same wattage, and they are much easier to see with at night, even in nasty snow storms.

I have been using these bulbs for about 5 or 6 years now, thankfully the price has gone down over time. With the current exchange rate, they are running about $30/pr and free shipping. I bought two pairs so I have an extra in case one dies on the highway at night.

Even though HIDs can be a little pricey. IMHO they are worth every penny. I love them since I drive back roads to work, I can see the deer giving me plenty of time to stop and avoid them.

well since you are running the 100w bulbs, nothing out there is going to beat that, except 130w, but that is risky. you might melt the wires and housing. Silverstars won't be able to beat what you have now because they are 55w. I have a high/low hid kit i might get rid of, but they are in the 4300 range, not sure yet on when I'll pull those.
