    i ended up bending my bumper twice while doing one recovery. It was still my truck and still my actions and all. No need to blame them for it.

    3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.

    I did this recently and my truck idles so much better. Even starts smoother, if that makes sense.

    I've searched and instead of starting a thread thought I would come here. Should I get 15x8 or 15x10? I will be running a 33x12.50. What's the major difference? I've heard a lot of people say don't run a 12.50 on an 8 inch rim. But pretty much all you guys do it :notsure:

    I've been told that 15x8's are better for airing down as they stay on the bead better. 15x10's look better in my opinion though.

    sorta this.

    a 15x8 on a 12.5 tire pulls the tire in more so you SORTA kinda not really get a wee bit more height out of it. But what also happens is the rim is more inside the tire so it is more protected from rock rash. and yes, you can also air down much lower with pretty much no issues.

    15x10 on a 12.5 with let the tire really settle out, so the tire will actually be a tad wider. usually have to trim a tad more with them. And the rims are more susceptible to rock rash.

    Thats pretty much it. Offroaders tend to like the 8s better for the reasons above, but if you don't wheel a ton, get 10s.

    Yes, but went with 17" this time. One day I might do tundra brakes.

    Not all 16's as far as I know... But he's running spacers so it wouldn't have mattered anyways.

    Not the 231s. Some 16s don't clear. At least this is what I read on yotatech. If I lose the spacers these wouldn't fit in a 16.

    I didnt notice much difference after I did mine but as long as the CEL stays off Im good ,only came on once then I cleared it but replaced it anyway.
