Bought an OEM bedmat from the dealer and when I first got it, it was great. . even fairly lightweight items stayed put.

Now, after a month and a fair amount of rainstorms, it's looking a little discolored and it's slippery in comparison to how it was.

Don't get me wrong. . cinderblocks aren't going anywhere, but a medium size cardboard box would slide all around back there now.

Has everyone else noticed the same, and if so, is there a way to restore that initial better grip of the rubber surface. . method of cleaning, etc.?

    no, and no

It's only had a few dry solid items on it (boxes, a bike, grocery bags, etc.) and been rained on. . that's it

Mine has never been slippery. Even after multiple rains and washes.

Weird. Mine is still very sticky. It's been rained on and pressure washed every time I was my truck. Not sure what else to say.
