Posting from Fraser. Hopefully you guys stay safe today. I did the trek up I70 last night to WP, and it was slow, but I didn't have any scary moments. I was in 4wd for the entire time, which made it much more comfortable. I got on Berthoud Pass at 7:30 last night, 30 minutes before they closed it. Honestly it really wasn't too bad, and I can't see why they wouldn't reopen it this morning. The snow is insane...literally about 2.5 feet of powder from the last few days. The snow this weekend is going to be amazing.

Made the drive from Castle Rock to Downtown this morning at about 6 am. The roads are pretty much ice and it's rather slow going. I don't even want to know what it looks like right now.

I pulled three cars up the two hills on 20th on my way into work. If you can, stay home. Not because your truck can't handle the snow, but because other peoples' cars can't...

Well I almost got into an accident already lol. Two left turn lanes and I'm In the right one. Car in front of me and then a Cherokee. He takes corner too fast and slides into curb and get stuck. Car in front goes by him, I can't cause cars are still turning to the left of me. So I wait for a space and start to go around him and he floors it in reverse and kept coming! I floor it to get out of the way and he flies past where I was. I almost slid into a sign trying to get out of the way. I honked and glared at him. Thank god I got traction otherwise he would have got me.

I hear you on that one. Drove up to Denver from the springs, roads weren't bad till I got into the city, what a mess. I hope I get hit on my way home so I can get a new rear bumper. Lol

    free parking?!

And I can't do that with my plate. A. nothing to hold the snow up lol and B. it stays in the garage so even if I did, it would be a little suspicious if the only thing with snow was the plate haha

Made it to vail at about 8:45 am, was on the road by 6am but got caught with the tunnel closed because of avalanche control. Vail was the best I've ever seen, lapped the same trees all morning with fresh tracks everytime. Got back in town around 4:45 tonight, honestly the roads weren't to terrible.

4x4 almost all the way to vail

2wheel drive almost 90% of the drive home!! Traffic going westbound SUCKED so if anyone is going up tonight give yourself time. Also i70 is closed westbound near empire, we were headed past that police stuff as it happened.

Cosmetic stuff.... best part HomerTaco Raptor Grille. Need to get a lift, armor and lockers.
Took me 6 hrs to go from longmont to glenwood springs. That hold up in empire was a high speed chase that ended with some shots fired I hear. Pretty wild. Your Colorado cops don't fuck around haha.

Yeah it was a DUI case where he was trying to flee, ramming cars and putting peoples lives in danger so clear creek county sheriff's shot him. I'm assuming that was the mess I was passing at around 4pm, it was just starting because we didn't see police lights yet. I70 was closed for 6 hours headed west bound

About the math in the events thread...

You used 24 hours in a day yes? Did you take into consideration counting out 24 hours? I mean the time we are talking about is the 13th hour period of the day. 0000-0100 is the first 0100-0200 is the second and so on till you get to 1200-1300 being the 13th hour period in a 24 hour period day yes?
