What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Someone stole my D ring...

left the piece that connects it to the tailgate, didn't take either of the unlocked jerry cans, but took my damn D-ring.

I'm assuming he just really needed it and didn't have a chance to give it back before I moved my truck.

Oh well, time to go spend money at princess auto.

 

At 5'6" the rearview doesn't bother me at all. When can you wash her?

 

I wish I took pictures but I was in a rush to finish because we were leaving for a trip. I could do a write up without pictures though.

It was actually last weekend, but finished the lift and installed new wheels and tires.

 

Finally got to wash mine too! So glad to wash all the dried slop off.

Bought a 2012 Pyrite Mica 4x4 TRD OR DBL Cab!

 

Changed the rear diff oil, spark plugs and cleaned the Volant air filter… Pretty productive if I do say so myself!

 

I used my sliders last night - only I wasn't off-road or traversing rocks lol. I was backing out of a parking space and forgot about the light pole I maneuvered around to get in the space in the first place. Suddenly the truck hit something at the passenger door on the driver's side. I looked and immediately realized my tragic mistake when I saw the truck up against the pole. I pulled forward off the pole and got out to inspect the damage

No damage what-so-ever! My Famous Fabrication sliders stuck out just enough to stop the pole from contacting the side of the truck. As I pulled forward, the kick-out push the truck over enough to let the rear wheels get by the pole without scraping along the bed. No damage to the sliders or the Line-X coating either! I was incredibly relieved and so thankful that I invested in the sliders. They might have just paid for themselves

 

Put in a Pioneer App radio 3 today. Pretty awesome!

 

Any experience with steam cleaning the grey cloth interior?

 

Finally suxed it up and got me thimble.

 

If you don't mind waiting for them to dry I would just pressure wash it

 

Installed my Pelfreybilt front bumper solo. Duallys wired to factory fog light switch. Just need to wire the SR-20".

 

I don't know much about winches. What's the use/benefit to this?

 

^ i would guess that a shackle bolt fits perfectly through that hole, and thus eliminatinting less structurally sound loops in a cable, but i dont have much experience with wenches either.
