    The install wasn't bad when I installed my Detroit. Total time invested was probably 4 hours. Worst part is pulling the bearings off the carrier if you mess them up they run around 50 a piece haha

    Would definitely be a Saturday thing down at the shop. And we have a shit ton of proper press equipment/tools for such things, I've managed not to fuck up a couple set of pinion bearings (on & off) that I've done so far.

    It got up into the 20's yesterday. Felt like fucking summer. Unreal how cold it's been.

    We got this 02 Tundra I pulled the trans from yesterday. 1st Yota truck since I've been working there (Go Toyota!!!). A340 series. Ate all the teeth off one of the planetary gears. So full of metal and metal chunks. Had 208K on her though, so...
