2009 tacoma sport access cab pulls hard right on snow/ice in 4hi but not in 2wd. Noticeable pull, in 2wd straight as an arrow. Tires all have exact same tire pressure, and tires are very new so no uneven tread, Thanks

Common on 4WD trucks. My 1997 tends to pull to the left a little in 4WD.

pulls pretty hard right, like jacks the wheel and need two hands to stop it on acceleration

Not natural. It did not come from the factory that way. Something is binding. You need to have it checked out. Are you sure both front tires are the same size and have the same amount of wear?

That much of a pull is excessive. I would inspect it for the possibility that the front axle actuator may not be engaging. This COULD cause excessive power to be applied to the left wheel in the front, causing a hard pull to the right.

Sounds pretty excessive. I had that (not as bad) during the first 6 months or so with my '13, and it finally just stopped pulling right. Would def have it checked out.

Yes, Ive had 4wd at least once a month. I should add that it pulls on acceleration, I feel it drifting right just cruising but the pull comes on pedal mash. It's the most unstable 4wd Ive ever driven in the snow

Again, check your front actuator. I am willing to bet that you have an issue there.

Interesting how would one go about checking it? I get what it is, and the 4wd does blink a few times before engaging, and it does engage, would it be the flow line clogged? And thanks for the help agian

Are you getting any clunking or other unusual symptoms? A loose LCA bolt, worn tie rod end(s), ball joints, or alignment problem could do it too.
