It was a tough decision between Pelfrey and Brute for the rear that's why i went with tried and trued. I'm 100% confident with the Pelfrey HC but went brute because I've seen it in person and a lot more are out there already

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Tyler makes some great stuff... I'm sure his HC rear is awesome.

Do you have to lift it to get it level across the bumper? If so, I would say there is play in the double shear hinge. If not, I'd venture the guess that the hinge is not level in two planes.

If you still have it the next time we all get together I'd like to look at and see if I can't point you in the right direction to a fix. Kinda sucks that this is the quality he is pumping out at the price point he has.

Too much of a pain to open the tail gate on a DD, IMO.

technically two vs three motions and in tight lots its even more of an awkward movement. Another reason why I went with the swing out on the right. 99% of the time I'm coming around from the driver side

i like my cbi rear bumper. got it in 4 weeks. pretty much the fastest one from order to pick up. and mine does do like ckeene9's does up in his pic, but with all the weight extended out the whole rear drops a little on that side of the truck

Yes. I'm guessing when I sent it back that he didn't just move it down on the spindle but angle it as well. Which honestly makes the table a useless. It really does suck that for the cost this is the quality.

    On a light ordering kick.

Just ordered 8 of these for bed lights.
    http://www.okledlightbars.com/apps/webstore/products/show/4424713

Going to mount 4 through the walls of the bed and then mount 4 on tabs on the bed rack.

These plus the 2 diffused duallys should light up the night sufficiently for camping.

Next up Fridge #3 and some used kayaks. Let there be SUMMER!

You know nothing....I have a 35 on mine, full water and gas cans....no drop on my swing out when open. It has to do with the hinge. He needs to go with a style like mine. That is why everyone (just about) went with this style....it is solid as woodpecker lips.

Bout time someone told him to go back to mommy so she wipe his nose before trying to run with the grown ups.

If you build with cheap or weak components to save money/time or whatever he is trying to do your end result is gonna suffer. Ever since he got bought out or corporate backed or whatever it was called, his stuff isn't to the same quality/standards that it was. Almost to the point it doesn't seem like his anymore. I've seen this on a couple friends trucks with front bumpers and skids.

Yeah maybe so. Wiring them all up is going to be a pain in the ass.

Nothin on mine is bending. It's just causin the suspension to compress more.

This is not suspension compression. Look at the angle formed from the bumper face to the end, this is a quality problem.

I have a compressor one if you want to buy it and cover shipping, I'll order another one. It's green/green. Matches factory interior on 12+

Yeah and I said mine is not bending like ckeene's. Mine just squats down more when it's open

I don't have an ato and had no desire to get one when I got mine. My cbi doesn't have more than a month wait time like everyone else and it latches fine and doesn't have a shitty spindle
