I just bought ALLPRO rock sliders for my truck, and I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions to plasti dip them. I hear they sell a primer, so I was thinking of doing that before a black dip. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank y'all.

I would just paint them a matte black since the dip will probably peel when hit against a rock or stepping on it all the time. And they are rock sliders. Not like something you're gonna wanna peel off later on like a stripe on your truck

Since sliders are a high traffic area I would/ did use a can of rustoleum satin black. Easy to touch up when needed. On the dip, when you break the surface sometimes it can be difficult to touch it up, you may find yourself peeling it all off then re-spraying

Okay, I've been trying to get caught up on this ( you know, inquiring minds want to know), and I've seen "PB Blaster" referenced several times. What the heck is PB Bl aster?

Hey everyone planning on doing dip on all my lettering and possibly the rear chrome bumper. Got a few questions.
    1. Any differences in prep for chrome bumper?
    2. Anyone use any enhancers on dip looking to use the gloss stuff, question being if I gloss over lettering is it going to screw me when peeling?
Any and all advice appreciated thanks

As for the chrome. Just like everything else make sure it is clean and dry. That's it. Did mine and it looks great. I would highly suggest that your first and second layers be very light. It wants to run if you pool up to much. I just simply did a couple of real light coats and made sure through the several layers I didn't get it on too thick. It takes longer but the it pays off in the long run due to a smoother finish and no runs.

As for gloss. I've not attempted that yet so I will leave that to someone who knows.
