Slightly off subject, but do any of you guys have any experience with the auto zone reman CV axles? Went to my parents yesterday and ended up cleaning/organizing one of their garages and for payment my father gave me a brand new strut he no longer needs for a truck he no longer has. So now I get to take it back and get store credit. Trying to fig something out to spend it on, would much rather have had cash but oh well.

In between what leafs does the AAL go and did you need a longer centering pin?

I'm going to be sending yet another email to him this week.

Appreciate it. Just called the store and a manager is on duty that I used to work with so they are gonna process it as a cash return! So that will end up buying me either some recovery gear or a pelfrey battery box... Decisions decisions.

Umm I think the third and fourth leaf from the top? Not sure. It's easy to put in and is almost exactly the same size as the one it goes next to. U will want new center pins when u install it. The old ones tend to get jacked up from the removal because sines u have to use vise grips on the bottom side to hold pin still. Also I needed longer ones because my d ones where cuz to length for when I put the bump stops on

Leaf goes in 3rd down from the top. I would second the need for new center pins. They are cheap and will make things easier with install. Not only that but the piece of mind you will get as center pins can stretch bend or shear over time.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Go get a grade 8 or 10.2 zince plated bolt and nut. Works great and is much stronger!
