I know it gets said all the time. but for as much as someone like me that drives in the winter (die hard boarder) not having 4wd is just silly and dangerous. I will chase storms in my area and the more snow and shittier the weather the better the skiing is going to be. Its just nice insurance that i can get to wherever i want and get back without worrying about being stuck.

4wd. The only 2wd you see in these parts have lawnmowers and rakes in the bed.

I have a 2WD cuz I live in south texas. Either it rains , it's cold or Nigeria hot but no snow ever! I like my prerunner. If I had an extra 5k I'd consider buying 4WD but I didnt. So ill just save gas and stay on the road for now. Don't really need 4wd here. I don't have a ranch with snowy hills and I don't really do off road. Just like a nice truck for loading stuff on it. I'm still a man. Lol

I live in south florida where the only snow is in a cone, and the only hills are on golf courses, and I rarely drive on them :)
4wd anything is seen everywhere but never really needed here for anything

Try asking this Prerunner owner when I helped pull him out in the ice storm we had this past weekend in TX.

The prerunner can go an impressive amount of places. I respect it's abilities, I only have issue with those that think imagined driving prowess can compensate for fundamental differences. You could give Lance Armstrong all the roids in the world and a mountain bike and he isn't going to be anything in the world of street racing and vise versa.

Oh and driving skill is great, but it is irrelevant because it ignores the fact that the vehicle is what we are talking about. "Me being a genius behind the wheel of a 2wd is better than a moron spinning out into a ditch in a 4x4 because the driver is a tard" does not make 2wd > 4wd.

Cost and necessity of course mean there is a huge market for 2wd and not everyone needs or wants to pay for 4x4.

Those are the best days because hardly anyone can make it up. A week day where its windy and snowy is the best day to ride. Totally empty mountain constantly getting dumped with powder
