i currently have the stock 17x65x265 tires and i want to upgrade to the BF goodrich all terrains and possibly a slight lift so they dont rub. Does anybody know the most common tire size upgrade and lift that tacoma pre runner owners get? also if im getting 340 miles on a 17 gallon tank what can i expect my mpg to be when i get bigger tires/lift?

Did you do an engine swap? How do you have 17" wheels on a Prerunner? Did you swap for Sport wheels?

285/70/17s here, about 17.5 mpg... 270'ish to a tank, 300 if I run to the light.

Just putting on my 3" lift, my MPG was roughly the same for two weeks. Installing 265/75/17 tires & new rims added 22lbs per wheel. My MPG dropped 2 MPG (after factoring in more diameter).

On the highway if I push it, I can go about 350 miles (20 gal tank) with a gallon to spare.

I know that. He did not have that listed in his info when I posted.

I still want to know what 4.6L is in your truck.

    You will definately drop in MPG's. I have a 6 in lift w/ 33's and i get around 15-17 and thats even w/ re-gearing to 4.10's
