What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I prefer that they rotate everytime I drive

 

I'm rotating in my spare.

 

Usually every 5-6k but I haven't rotated these in like 12k... :O

 

most of my cars have staggered directional tires so they dont get rotated at all. i need to rotate he wheels on the tacoma and the silverado

 

Ive spent about 14 hours in the last two days designing and building a headache/lumber rack for mine. If i could figure out how to post a pic from mu phone, id put one up. Still got to add a couple gussets, do final welding and paint...

 

Today I vacuumed it, cleaned the afe air filter, adjusted fog lights angle, and filled up windshield washer fluid.

 

Paid it off...14 months early. Every time I saved up a decent amount of "mod money" I kept giving to the bank. No more payments, time for those mods. In the near future:
-Sliders
-7th injector kit and install supercharger.
-take out level kit and install OME.
-armour bumpers

 

You're a stronger man than I am! If I left my truck stock and put all that monet into the payments mind would be paid off as well...

 

This why I need to move. Closest one is 45 minutes away.

also wondering which spark plugs are best, right now im thinking ACdelco double platinum

and the fuel filter? selected now is the WIX at $16

 

Wheeled it this weekend out in River Falls, WI. Only a couple inches of snow, found a stump doing about 15mph and became very happy that i went with steel rims instead of aluminum. Pounded this dent back to round and brought it back to 15psi and wheeled the rest of the day. Drove it home without issue at 25psi.

Screw that. I'm not going to drive 100 miles for free rotation and balance. I can get them balanced on base for cheap and just rotate them myself for less than gas would cost.

 

The inner boot, its just a bunch of gunk spewed. Its on the bottom of the passenger side and then it gets thrown onto the LCA as well.

 

yeah cast aluminum would have cracked at some point when you were wackin the fuck out of it

 

I didn't know river falls has a wheeling place. I will be out there again in 2 weeks. Might need to check it out if I drive my truck. Or is this private land?

What are you replacing those with? Staying with OEM rubber or switching to poly?
