    Yea def. I likes my backup camera too much. My spare is gonna mounted flat to the bed floor I ordered the mount a few days ago.

    Not sure what the actual problem is but it's as if the spindle was put on at an angle.

    If that's the case it's complete BS since that's the configuration is ordered it in. My guess is when it was sent back for the latch to be "fixed" the carrier was welded back to the spindle housing at an angle.

    I've seen plenty of Hi-cleareance setups on here with tire and gas/water cans/high lift and the owners never said anything about the tire gate opening up.

    The angle must have something to do with it, it does look a little weird.

    Skip the mount, use a Y strap and some extra D-rings that way you can remove the tire if need be and there won't be anything in your way.

    This....had my tire in my bed for two years now. Finally couldn't handle it and ordered a HC bumper with swing out. I'll figure out the rear camera after I get the bumper in.

    Sucks your still having issues with the ATO. Hopefully they make it right, and correct the design flaws.
