    +1
Not that we have a need for it in SoCal unless we live in an area prone to flash floods, but it seemed every time I looked at the guide, TWC was showing some kind of original programming... much like MTV replaced the music with regular series, and History replaced history with aliens.

I like some of the shows they have on. If nothing else is on I'll watch a couple they show. Plus if there is a big enough weather event, even if it says a show is on the guide its probably not on and they are reporting on the weather. I can't imagine they get too great of ratings without some sort of shows. Who the hell is gonna watch the weather channel very long unless something crazy weather wise is happening?

TWC could be a pure public information channel, supported by another channel(s) owned by the same company.
    Corporations love tax write-offs.

True. But then maybe not as much money put into then, and get shitty weather reports. I wonder what makes more money, viewers or write off.

    That sucks. Be safe!

    Yeah
'Ole Ted wasn't all that. Kinda rude actually. But I said hello, told him my Bison burger was good and I liked his restaurant.

My wife said- Don't you go talking politics with Ted, you already know he's a left wing loon.

I promised her. And kept my promise.
Actually, I had wanted to talk bird hunting...he has a large hunt ranch here.
But, he wasn't very open to conversation.
    And, he's looking old....real old. :(

No snow for me today. They say we should get some on Wednesday. That'll give me a chance to try out plowing fresh snow with the Yeti instead of just shoving back snowbanks.

From a couple of days ago. Still at least 1/8" of ice on everything. Now we're supposed to get 8" of snow on top of the ice tonight. Should make things interesting....

I have a semi steep driveway. A lot of the steep part I push it all down to the level part. Then I push all that over to the side. I have a decent sized shovel for that part. Then the top half to the street I have one of those bent handled ones that's better for the back and work uphill so even less bending over. My arms get a workout, but my back is not killing me to bad. Not bad at all pushing it down and on the level. A lot less work that way I think.

Sounds like most of what's hitting here over night is freezing rain. Tired of missing all the good snow! Plus F ice!

Yea ice is no good. Got 4" yesterday here in NWCT. Forecast is for 8-12" tonight/tomorrow with rates of 2-3"/hr. A third storm might bring us a nor'easter almost a year to date of that huge one that I was posting pics of a copy l pages back this upcoming weekend.
