30 and younger thread

Gotcha, was jw cus I used to think it would be cool to have a second Tacoma but its just not practical.

 

Eh, I just don't want to be in a situation where I need to drive with my family somewhere and the weather is bad and all I have is a FWD car and a 03 Tacoma that's not daily driver friendly.

 

1 yea because I need bigger vehicle since we had baby 2 I will not b getting rid of my current truck 3 I will build it to b a wheeling truck

 

Pretty much all of the reasons I want one! Haha except I don't have a kid yet.

 

I think it would be practical for me since I have a prerunner. I could my daily nice and clean and get a 1st gen to beat on. However I think I might have a lead on a cheap old land cruiser so I might go for that so I can have an expo wheeling vehicle

 

Almost pulled the trigger in an FJ yesterday. He was about 3k off on the price I wanted to pay and my wife said if I buy one without sellin g my 3rd gen runner I'll be living in my RTT hahah.

 

I wouldn't mind a fj is the price is right

 

I like FJ's a lot, but if you have any kids under 14 or 15 it would get annoying fast.

They look good but too many blind spots for me.

 

The price on this one was awesome. I just wanted it even cheaper. I'm happy with my runner so I'm not in a hurry to buy something.

I have a kid under that age and I use my buddies all the time with my daughter and her car seat fits fine. It depends on how big your car seat is as well. Just something about the FJ I love. And I've already owned a 2nd gen Tacoma. If I was going to buy another truck it would be the tundra. I prefer the Toyota suv's over the 2nd gen tacomas. That's just me though.

 

If you are short they suck to drive.

 

The blind spots really aren't as bad as people make it out to be in my opinion.

 

I'm 5' 4" and my mother is like 5'. I drove it for 2 weeks straight once and my mom has driven it for 2 or 3 years now and loves it....

Yeah, but doing that on the daily would get old real fast I would think. Just not family friendly imo. Worked great for my parents, my sister, and I. Mom didn't get it until both my sister and I had our own vehicles.

We'll there you go. The only people I have heard complain about "blind spots" were short people. But you just squashed my theory!
I honestly don't think it's bad I love the interior lay out.

 

Well they have that giant pillar in the back seat where I normally look to see lol

Is 5'8" considered short? Lol

 

I would think it would be worse with older kids because the back seat is smaller than my 3rd gen runner.
