    So these are illegal unless you're boosted? I installed one on my truck and I've accumulated quite a bit of oil in mine, almost unreal how much oil gets thrown back into the intake.

    Only in California, if it is all shiny, might they say something at smog time, and if has open element breathers on it. No breathers on it, it should be just fine there.

    Ok sounds good, I should be ok then. I see it as a benefit, but i dont know why Commiefornia wouldn't.

    On the N/A or roots s/c setups, that hose on the intake tube to passenger valve cover is left alone.

    On a boosted, pre-throttle body, it is best to separate the pcv system from the intake system, so that boost doesn't pressurized the crank case.

    Would it be a good idea to connect it to an oïl catch can. This one is source of oïl mist Inside the inlet and create deposit in the tube, the TB and manifold/SC? I even suspect this fume to destroy the urethane flexible use to attach the inlet tube of the 1st gen TRD CAI (or AFE 2 SI) to the TB.

    While I was doing some research on proper installation of the catch can, I saw on some sites that they put inline a check valve right before the intake manifold. Would this be beneficial?

    Installed my ADD W1 oil catch can, but seem to get the "check oil light on" and the "TRAC ON". Has anyone experience this. I installed the air filter version, but it also comes with a end cap for a closed system. Does it matter which type I use? This is a 2013 Tacoma Doublecab LB 4x4 TRD Sport. Any ideas?
