I'm going to fit them onto Light Racing UCA's so we'll see if it fits as well for me. Haha

As long as everything is mocked up and mounted before a solid weld is made I don't see why it wouldn't fit

Yeah. TC is pretty firm about them only working for their UCA's but the TC's don't look much different than the LR's.

Well SDHQ uses them on icon and camburg uca's, it's all in the mock up. Doesn't matter what brand you have

You have to get a longer bolt sometimes if using them on Non TC stuff.

What is this gusseting Pat? Does it attach to the oe coil bucket?

Yeah. The double shear the UCA and help so the buckets don't bend

Which direction are they supposed to stop the shear force? Perpendicular to the frame or parallel, my mind tells me that these only help with parallel.

Ahhhh this makes way more sense then Pat's pic, thanks sexy  So it would seem that it only strengthens in the parallel direction. Is this a prevalent issue with the OE buckets?

Yes and no. The coil buckets are known to bend in, but what a lot of people do not know is it is not the coil buckets but the actual frame rail itself rolling in. Best bet to prevent this is to build a crossbar "engine cage" to tie the buckets together.

Why wouldn people assume to think this? On top of thinking that those side bucket gussets would stop it from doing this? If you think of it as two walls standing alone and then put a force on the outside of those walls acting in an inwards motion what would you do to stiffen it? Add more walls to the side or put a vertical member in between to stop them from imploding? I mean I aint the smartest man on the planet but that, to me, is structural engineering 101.
