    Probably the 10-22.

I just realized you're on a crop sensor though so keep in mind that the 50 will be like having a 75mm on a full frame and the 35 will be closer to a 50. You may want a 35mm 1.8 instead of a 50mm 1.8 simply based on what focal lengths you prefer.

Sorry I didn't think to mention that before. It's really personal preference but a 50mm equivalent is going to be more versatile.

I step way back with mine and use it like a wide angle (even though its not) and then can step right up close and take a portrait (though its not a portrait length either) so I really like my 50mm equivalents for street stuff. BUT, that is my personal preference. ha

The wide would be great for landscapes, travel, cityscapes, architecture or whatever and then a fast prime for low light stuff and you'd be set for a while. Those are the two that would make sense for me. Although the wildlife guys would say get a long tele so its really on what you want to shoot.

None yet, but its about to get rolling.
Exactly what I was thinking. I can use my 55-250 for wildlife for the time being.

Yes photo stitching works great for landscapes..but not so well in other areas. a 10-22 has it's place since with a bigger lens you still have to move back a bit, so for interior shots or other close angles, a 10 will be much better.

Everyone is going to tell you what "they" would get because it makes sense to them. What you need is enough time behind a camera to start developing your own likes and dislikes and style and then you'll know if you like zooms or primes better, wides or normals or teles, etc. I'd get one prime or one zoom and play with it for quite a while, THEN decide where you want to go next. Don't buy three or four lenses right off the bat. 2 maximum. That way you don't end up changing your mind on half of them as you grow. Pick 1 to 2 lenses that make sense (such as one fast prime and one wide-zoom) and then worry about learning your camera and your own style for a while.

EDIT: Which brings my opinion on what you should buy back to the 10-22 and a 50/1.8 ha

haha the 24-105 would be sweet i think. Idk if id use a 100-400 enough though..haha probably would if i could..i enjoyed using Ben's 70-300 for a few minutes.

wouldn't mind trying a few more primes too now that i have been using my 50 more.

I want to do wildlife stuff, so the 100-400 would be good for that. I have never shot through a prime. I really liked you challenge shots. The dof is incredible.

Ok, the lady emailed me and this is the low down. The contract says they(the local convention and visitors authority) has the right to reproduce the images in any size, for any media application, any number of times. They cannot alter the image, and I will still own the picture.
    That sound inline?

Yeah, man. The main thing is just to be sure it doesn't become their photo and you can't sell it to anyone else or use it for personal purposes. At least that's the way I see it. The other main thing is a price ha did they make an offer because if not you're going to need some advice on what to ask but I'd guess in the hundreds range makes sense.

Yes, they are going to use it to advertise our little community. From the looks of it, they wont be able to sell it. They offered $75. Again I have no idea. I have seen the photo stock websites get people like .20c per picture, and some people are saying they get hundreds for their photos.
