Just pulled apart driver and passenger doors to get to door lock actuators. Pulled them apart and cleaned them both. Back in locking business with the remote door lock switch. Hopefully this will last a while. Fairly easy to do and like Ken said just some patience and a few tools.
Saved me around $600 for both doors from the dealership, also $440 for new door actuators from Toyotapartsbarn.com.
THANX TO KEN (snektaco). Great write up.

I'm running a bed bar so near the cab it a little hard to maneuver but after I slip it over the bar and lights it fits like a glove. I love it so far, only took about 30 min to setup since it was my first time and it has tons of room in the inside. I purchased it in the Marketplace off a guy selling his truck. Its the Napier Sportz Truck tent.

I didn't want the blinkers so we modified some foglight/driving lights where the blinkers went and I think they turned out amazing as well!

Also, a TREMENDOUS thanks to Brian for the help and the use of his garage and tools. I definitely couldn't have done any of it without him. Glad to have met him and hang out with him today. Look forward to more projects bud!

That looks fantastic! I'd like to hear more about the driving lights you modified.

    Thank ya man!

I went to Autozone and bought the Pilot PL-1058M Driving Lights. They measured at like 5Wx2H which was pretty much the exact blinker cutout. We I ended up cutting the housing of the ARB blinkers out first just to make a perfect rectangle. Mounted the driving lights to the cutout so I didn't have to modify the actual mounts on the bumper. I wish I would have taken actual pics of the modifying but I was actually too excited to get my install done.

Excellent. This was very level ground, but I had to cross a small stream to get there. Nothing too wild, but I wanted to make sure it worked and was lubricated etc. Definitely a good time and I'm excited to be back in a 4x4. My first new vehicle was a Ford F-150 4x4, but it's condition got a bit rough while my dad had it for the last ten years or so. It's parked outside but I don't drive it much and am getting ready to sell it.

Does it come with padding for underneath or did you put something down?
