    No it was a high iso i bet. 1600 or 3200 i bet as there are no trails from major stars. So it was under 30 seconds.

    Nope. It was 1600 or 3200. I was testing them out and I don't remember which one. I think it was 3200

    Star trails yes shoot at 100-200 iso..but for a 30 second shot with no trails and lots of stars..you have to bump the iso. Otherwise you don't get many stars like Marcs shot.

    Ok, need help, girlfriend is buying me a GoPro, it's a toss up between the Hero 3 silver edition or the Hero 2 HD. I've looked and tried to compare. Should I try and save her some money with the Hero 2 or should I get the lastest Hero 3 silver.

    I saw a video of both, pretty much recording the same thing while a guy is biking. The Hero 3 silver appears to have a bit better handle on the clouds, and I watched the video in my phone so I can't tell 100% all the little details.

    I've wanted one for a long time and I'm very unfamiliar with then. I've only seen a couple in person.
