    I do sometimes; that type of truck is called a Hi-Rail vehicle. My Tacoma isn't one. I usually drive to a business/facility that has railroad tracks and do a walking inspection of the tracks. Hi-Rail equipped vehicles are used more for remote areas and mainline freight tracks.

    Hi I work for the 5th busiest commuter railroad in the country , based out of Boston Ma. I'am currently a foreman in the bridge / building dept . I've have been with the railroad since 1975 and loved every moment .

    I am a heavy equipment operator with 30+ years at the same place. We just bought a 2014 TRD O/R DCSB so I'll be working for another 5 years. I also work on my Jeep so I can play on the big rocks.

    I got to work the line for a week at the Honda plant out there as part of my training. That's hard work, I was definitely sore the first few days.
