Nice! How do you plan on hauling both the tent and a kayak? Just curious because I may want to do the same

This is how I have mine set up... You can't set the tent up with the kayak on it though

Probably just like Steve \/\/\/ I'm exploring all possibilities right now including roof and bed racks.
What type of kayak is that Steve? I'm buying myself and the GF one probably next week and trying to decide what to get.
EDIT: Quick search it appears to be a Future Beach

Yep future beach got it at dicks it's pretty heavy but very stable... Kinda slow in open water though

I have only been kayaking a couple times and used a cheaper sundolphin both times and I am leaning on getting them. They work well and are light weight for our rivers

Ahh I see. So I guess height of the rack (and then RTT on top) factors in as well. Thanks for the info

Yep. I'm going about the same route as Steve though. Mid height bed rack and RTT on it with roof rack for kayaks

I like the Mount Shasta version. I like the fact that with the additional overhang, the ladder can be located inside the additional annex. I wonder what the expected price at the GB will be this March for the Shasta, and the annex.

Love my Shasta! Wife approved :D

This was from this fall in Idaho. 14* night with a heater in the annex and the inside tent door open it kept the tent nice all night! Annex paid for itself that night.

I'll definitely be interested in the next group buy. For what it's worth, I saw Bobby at the big outdoor show in Harrisburg, PA this weekend. Initially when I saw these tents, I thought that they were awesome but probably too pricey for me to jump on. I spoke with Bobby for 20 minutes or so and he answered all of my questions. The tents are very well built and even my wife (who tends not to like to spend money for non-necessities) loved the tents. With the group buy discount, I'll likely buy the Mt. Rainier. The discount will pay for the shipping and several hundred dollars off the list. What a great deal, I'm very excited and looking forward to my first trip with my Cascadia tent.

GANGGREEN, We must have missed each other by a few. I saw Bobby on Sat. as well at the show. Super stoked about the group buy, product looks AWESOME.

    Cheers, James

This is very helpful. This group buy helped me convince my wife as well, can't wait.

With tax returns coming back I'm looking to get a CVT for my truck. Any information on a group buy for this year?
