30 and younger thread

This lol When I get mine I'll be in high demand then. Even though I probably won't use it to it's full potential.

 

All depends on who's hiring.
People like my grandparents are old fashioned, no "do you have a degree" it just "do you know how to do the work? and if not are you willing to learn?"

 

haha i do agree with most of that. a lot of people i notice while going to school equate graduating with guaranteeing getting a job. its almost like people think they are paying to get a job after 4 years. nope. you still gotta work your butt off to actually make something of yourself, cant just sit there and wait for the jobs to land in your lap just because you have a degree.

 

Honestly it's all about who you know. Degrees are just another thing now a days. Granted a degree might get you a better look but so will hard work and willing to learn. When it comes down to it for me a degree won't be the decision between life and death when I'm on a call. It'll be about the real life experience

 

x2! I love everyone getting liberal arts degrees and general nonsense degrees. thats just less people in field ill be competing against.

Sure you could.

I can tell you you'd have to work harder then you ever will as an engineer for your entire life and be broke and hungry most your life till your really establish yourself...but yea. you could do it.

If it makes you that happy, you'd do it.

Thats why people get liberal arts degrees. Not cause they want to make money, because they love doing it and love sharing it, so most the time they end up teaching.

Without those people, you'd have no music, photos, poems, movies, tv shows, radio shows or art to inspire you in some way like they do.

Its sad how little people like that are appreciated in our country really..and the world more and more..
