Remember that on well Cap...was in Williamsburg Va. for a long weekend and drove back North on I 95 on Sunday. State of emergency was in force in Delaware & PA. Cops, salt trucks and me were the only peeps on the road:eek:.
Took less time to get home without all the damn traffic there normally is. Then I had to dig out the driveway cause lord only knows, the kids wouldn't do it:laugh:

Agreed ... I have no complaints with mine either. What tires do you run Ken?

Have the Firestone Destination A/T. Good highway tire but aggressive enough tread for what I need. Rotate them every 10,000 miles and they are holding up great.:DHave 20,000 on them now.

 I was just curious. I run dedicated Winter and Summer tires currently (2 complete sets tires/rims). I'm debating going with one set of ATs. Maybe Duratracs? :notsure:

We go upstate PA a lot and sometimes do mild off roading. The summer tread just didn't make it and I couldn't be bothered swapping out tires all the time. Mine do the job no problem. I went on www.tirerack.com and read reviews on Firestone, Goodyear, Goodrich, Toyo, etc. and chose the Firestone. Guy where I got the tires told me he runs the destination A/T and loves them. Looked at his truck and got the tires. :D

We had a lot of rain yesterday with 10 min of snow. Tonight we are supposed to have freezing rain. We will see.

    Afternoon all:
YEA, looks like we are in the bulls eye again. I have a new set of Mastercraft Courser MSR tires on the Tacoma. They seem to be working pretty good and am happy with them.
    Back to :goingcrazy:!!!!!
Just called a senators office! Earlier I called the local SS office, and then a regional SS office. I never heard anything on the appeal I sent in concerning the Medicare rate hike, due to the IRA rollover. After a 45 min. wait for someone to answer, the regional office confirmed that I am paying the higher premium, and they have no record of the appeal. Still waiting for the return call from the local office.
Now I will get a form to fill out, giving permission for the Senators office to act on my behalf, and have to make copies "AGAIN", of all info. related to the rollover. If I have to pay it-OK, but if I don't; WHY SHOULD I ?????
I would think that a senators office will not get the run around like I would. We'll see what the outcome is! :notsure:

Hope the Senators office gets resolution for you Carl. Good timing for them to do the right thing being an election year. I'd be willing to bet you don't have to pay. I'd even be willing to bet that many will end up paying it when they shouldn't have to; these things seem to be loaded to fleece hardworking honest folk. Many will pay without putting up a fight. :(

Keep fighting buddy. I admire your determination.

Here's the thing on this. When I did the rollover, I called the local SS office. They told me to file an appeal, and since the jump in income was due to a 100% rollover, they would take it into consideration and I shouldn't be penalized with a higher Medicare premium. What I'm wondering is if the determination varies from one appeal to another, or if it is cut and dried. If it's cut and dried you shouldn't even be able to appeal it! Like I posted, I never received an answer concerning the appeal.

OHHHH! Calling for 4-8" + ICE in our area. :( :facepalm:That is not good!
