Calling out all MTB (Mountain Bikers) in the San Diego area!

Thanks for the input. I'm not sure a full suspension bike is in my budget so I've been looking into 29" hardtails. I heard good thing about Airborne, but still undecided between their Guardian, Seeker, and Goblin model.

 

When do you guys plan on riding next? I'd like to try night riding. Sounds like a blast. Just need to invest in a good bicycle light.

 

Dude, I scored a Giant Talon 29er on CL for dirt cheap about two weeks ago. It works perfect for what I'm doing.

 

Sorry Ive been absent for a little while on this. As much as I wanted to ride Noble this month, a lack of preparation is leading me to push it for next month. For February however, I'm choosing a ride I haven't done in a long time. Martha's Grove. Information is below. Let me know if you guys want me to post a ride on here for others to join you. I don't mind and certainly don't want to hold you all back from becoming skilled riders.

Sorry for the late posting guys. Here is a picture of the entrance to Martha's Grove in Poway. I thought I'd include a picture since I didn't take the GoPros.

Looks likes quiet place to ride. Is it a hiking trail also?

 

It is a hiking trail also. There is another trail hiking only close by. It's at the end of Scripps Poway Prky where it meets highway 67. I actually drive under that bridge to access this trail to MTB.

The plan is to ride to Jamacha off highway 94 and back. We could stop by Target to get a snack/drink before riding back. This is #10 on the list from page 1. ​

 

Oh man, I'm not sure what happened, but I haven't been getting any notifications for this thread even though I'm subscribed!!!

Sorry, I can't make the next one (Sweetwater) because I'll be up in Mammoth that weekend. I'll keep a closer eye on this thread in case my subscriptions get bumped again for some reason. Looking forward to the next ride!!!
