Thanks man, It happened on the 215 going south by the russell exit. The overpass seen in the picture is Las Vegas Blvd.

Thanks man. Yeah just from looking at it after I got out I could tell it was going to be super expensive to fix or they would just total it.

Yeah, mine was totaled for a similar collision, except I had no suspension damage. The passenger side fender well had to be replaced and the insurance company totaled it. At the time the truck was two years old and had 27,000 miles on it. The good thing about that is I got a 2005 second gen taco for 8900 back in 2007 instead of 14,000. Gonna go 4wd extra cab when they cut you the new check?

OK so no matter what happens, your truck served its purpose. :D Make sure your next truck has reclining seats. :D

Wow that sucks, your truck was my inspiration for my 5 lug. Glad you're in better shape than your truck.

    Hey All-

New Member and my first post! I learned a lot in this 5 lug section, some really great advice for ones with a 5lug. I am finally ready to show y'all my new(ish) whip after getting my lift/wheels/tires added. Let me know what y'all think!

    5lug 2.75 ReadyLift Kit
    16x7(4.5 backspacing) KMC Enduros
    245-75-16 BFG Rugged Terrains.

FYI-I had to take the black boxes out BUT I did not trim the plastic. I simply drilled a hole in the plastic where the black box bolt was and screwed it back and that tightened it up enough with no rubbing.

My Tacoma did great on my cross country trip! Drove all the way from Virginia to California and my 5 lug conquered all!

LOL this is where I was at with the comment due to lack of emoticons

This^ plus there are some other random tidbits laying around like adjustable uppers, adjustable coilovers, etc. etc. Think you could update the sticky with that info ry if I got it to you?
