True it's just different areas of the barrel in the process so the taste is a little different. I'll drink either, for the same reasons because it supports our local.

 

Being single is pretty darn awesome.

 

Same price in CO for both of them. There is a slight taste difference between all of the light beers. I am really sensitive to that sort of thing so I don't think they taste anything alike. All Budweiser beer tastes the same though, that really annoying off flavor that is "bud."

 

Technically almost all beer sold on the front range is local.

I can 100% confirm from a brewmaster at coors in golden all beers are different batches. They may brew 2 sets of coors or coors light that are at different strengths and then mix at bottling to maintain a consistent product. Many big breweries gravity brew. For example bud light comes out of a fermenter at 8.1% and is diluted. Bud and Bud light are not shared in terms of mixing. All products are brewed individually. I may have taken a beer class.

 

That's what I have heard from a guy who worked there. So there's gotta be some truth in that.

I have not tried snapshot yet. I haven't been out much lately for drinking. Just hanging out at home.
