Thanks, just waiting for dealer to tell me the truck is in. Hard to find MG ACOR 4x4's. Don't really need the Apps part of the radio but Navi would be nice.

I guess the next thing will be to get a Vin number as the truck I order won't have that system. What is everyone doing?

Anyone know of a PNP type amp that can be wired in to give it better sound without installing a AM system?

So yes there are several PM's i have not answered I do apologize as Febuary and March are some of the most busy months. I may not be able to respond to all the pm's so i do apologize for this. I will be trying to contact all the PM's i have now but i would like to place it here as well so other members interested understand why it takes a bit longer. As of now we are needing to put a hold on a lot of sales on items, not just these Tacoma units. We will be attending several car and audio shows this month and some of next. We are doing a lot of sponsorship work which takes a lot of time out of our schedules. I will have these units still but it may need to wait till beginning or mid march. Again sorry for everyone that is interested.

 

Installed it today in 30 min. Still waiting on my antenna and 20 - 28 pin adapter but the CD and Navigation work flawlessly. Thanks for a g8 product!!!

 

So sounds like based on this comment that shark fin antenna on 2012 has a different connector? The 28/20 pin issue has an adapter but haven't heard anything about the shark fin.

 

FLTTRUCKS I'm in for one Premium w/Nav when you have another for sale. I have Entune Plus in a 2014 Sport. Still assuming it will be plug and play.

 

FLTrucks is great to do business with, my Unit he sent me had a slight problem (it happens).
He gave me a couple of options and I settled on a replacement, unit arrived today swap took 10 min and the new head unit works perfectly.

Well it's been only one day since getting this HU. All I can say, I'm extremely happy with it and say its worth the price. Yes, even in an 2008 it works perfectly. NAV is spot on and I'm surprise the voice can pronounce Hawaiian street and road names haha. Let's not forget how much Toyota would charge you to get one of these.

Don't forget, to utilize the App you have to register with an Entune able VIN number. Which is no problem since FLTrucks can provide that for you. Or Google is your friend

Thanks Peto48! Now I just need to get the upgraded head unit. Dealer service told me it could not be done when I inquired about upgrading shortly after purchasing the Taco. Even after "calling Toyota".
