I don't see this crack you speak of... And I don't know what metal pitting is, but as long as that big round black thing that is covered by a tire keeps rolling, I'm gonna drive it till wheels fall off (which from the looks of it may be sooner rather than later).

If that rim is cracked you won't be driving it anywhere for long. Seriously look at your pic of the wheel and then reference the pic I edited. There appears to be a crack at 7 going from lug bore to lug bore. And the pitting is holes.

 

Its a damn circle. Most people can't even draw a straight square with their damn s pen lol.

If I did an arrow it would have had to been three, 1 showing crack, 2 showing the pits.

 

I would have been ok with that... Haha. Why do I have to be worried about pitting?

 

Means the metal is getting weak. And material is missing. Eventually a small pit can turn into a full blown hole or crack.

It is terrible. You dont want a wheel to fall off. Minimum you'll be replacing rotor, brake pads, front bumper and fender. But because your truck is so high, likely you will be replacing suspension parts as well and there's always a chance of smashing into another car or flipping your truck. Nothing good can come from a wheel falling off. Unless of coarse that's what you wanted to happen. Haha
