Well they can gold plate Colorado, but if they continue their quality who is going to be foolish enough to buy one. Having diesel that does not run or brakes down a lot is pointless. I know I traded VW Tdi for my Tacoma.

The rust is a big one, at least Ford, Dodge, and Chevy fixed that back in the 70's.
Not that I want one of them..

    And then the rear springs....

It would be nice if Toyota backed them like the big 3, most their trucks are 5 years 100k, dodge was 7 year 100k.

in 7 years there were only two tsb applicable to my truck.
    floor mat
and suspension. Last one was more like convenience. So what are those 100 tsb's you speak off?

my Tdi engine caught on fire twice, 3 turbos later, I drove that POS to Toyota dealer and left it there. All that before car hit 37000 miles too. When it run it was fun car, but only if it run.
my friend had Jetta Tdi same problems. His last straw was when dash cracked and screwed up wiring. No Help from VW.

No. Who would of thought a never used truck would show no signs of use

blah blah blah.... go look at the list yourself. I'm not here to spoon feed you answers. If you want to know go look it up yourself. you're one lazy mofo.

cause I'm here to serve you? Please

sounds like user error to me. Those engines typically have zero issues. Maybe you should learn how to drive better? Or maybe learn some routine maintenance?

    OK I'm out of douchebagville

    enjoy stroking each other

Funny, several friends, 5-6 have the TDI and have had great luck, most in the 120-300k miles, only one of them had a cam problem that was known on a few years at 175k he replaced the cams and at 250 now.
Everyone of them keeps trying to get me to get one. Any place from 35 to 50 mpg.
I was on one trip driving with the owner to a trade show. Never hit less then mid 40's at any point. Most was 65-70 mph.

My 2014 frame already has rust where rocks and bolders have removed some of the paint. I will sand and repaint in the summer.

Yup... sure was. Thing is... I don't live in a Northern state so I don't have to worry about rust. Most everyone that lives in a Northern state does. Not sure what that has to do with "Mall Rated" but I am the shit when it comes to parking blocks :)

    lol
there are only two applicable tsb's to my truck what I supposed to be looking for? I have 3 Toyotas and all 3 of them maybe had 5 tsb issued.
Tdi engine used to be great, up until they started making them in Czechoslovakia .
are you saying oil supply line to turbo is an maintenance item? There tons of people having issues, there are even more people with failing manual gearboxes. Windows that fall inside car randomly and cracked dashboards.
