So I'm sitting in class right now and our instructor who is a Nurse Practitioner and has an Masters degree in Nursing had to call the IT guy because one the screens wouldn't go up. When the IT guy got here he went to the desk, pressed a button and the screen went up. The instructor asked him what he did and he replied, " I pressed the screen up/down button".:rofl::rofl:

It's about time. I'd see support help desk jobs requesting a bachelor in IT. Never could figure out why.

I've had this happen before. Lots of times the monitor turns off to save power and they think the monitor is broken.

There it is, first time putting a system together. Was a lot of fun but still tweaking on the EQ's. Thanks for the pointers C-town!

Looking good man! I can't wait to hear it.

Watch those amps for over heating. If it starts to over heat put some CPU fans in there to move the air.

I was thinking the same thing, seen quite a few builds in the past where members run two fans in opposing directions on opposing sides to draw and expel the air trapped inside of there.

Yeah the sub amp has went into protection mode once since installing, but I had it blasting for like 3 hours and had the gain turned up a little too much. You dont have an Oscope by any chance do you?

No I don't have an Oscope. If you are turning the gain past 1/4 of the way something is wrong or the amp isn't strong enough to push the subs. Gain should be used very sparingly. The gain on my sub amp is at 0 and it pushes the shiznit out of the sub.

Used to play bass back in the day. I think I have a guitar somewhere at my house now.
