    If you know how to sew and patch and have he material and you take care of these tents even my camping lab tent will last me forever. Take care of it and it will take care of you, just like anything else. Not saying the better material isn't better or that one is better than the other but I would trust my tent just as much as that one. I've taken the time to learn how to repair and care for my tent.

    That was a requirement for me too! I made Monte meet up with me in Yellowstone so that I could see his RTT and open/close it on my own just to get an idea of what I was getting into. Reading specs and looking at pictures on line is one thing but actually seeing the item helps put it all in perspective
    There were a lot of things that didn't go as planned with the GB but Bobby took it all in stride and pulled through for everyone.

    Now if we could just get you to stop wetting the bed I'm sure the tent will last even longer

    Consumer/tech support will also be a large piece of the puzzle before I buy. When I find a vendor who stands behind their goods I stand behind that vendor 100%. It's one of those intangibles that always ends up being invaluable.

    I really enjoyed talking with bobby in person and seeing their place. He really is a stand-up man and goes a long way to make things work.

    I had issues with my tent, emailed bobby and he got right back with me for a solution and it blew me away. Fast and friendly. GREAT COMPANY to deal with.

    May as well, idk if its just my RTT but it'll be a security blanket if anything.

    Still haven't pulled the trigger on a sleeping bag.. Im thinking a 2 person but i won't always have 2 people with me(rarely if the misses decides to go) but i don't want to buy a one person sleeping bag, and then have to buy a 2 person one.. they both would stay in the RTT all the time but shit...

    Jason used a small mat under his sleeping bag and above his mattress in his to avoid condensation. I have one in mine and it has allowed me to effectively quit wetting the bed.

    I'll be doing the majority of my camping in the summer so the 20 degree bag will work well for that, i see they have like a 50 degree back for like 15$ so i'll grab that one too. Thanks for the link
