    There have been some big dogs killed in the past few years. Largest I've
    Heard of is mid 50s. A wolf can easily weigh over 100lb. Average coyote is 35-40. Until they're killing 75lb dogs, I call bullshit

    Given I wouldn't wanna fuck with a wolf, but I have been to "howling woods farm" which is a wolf/dog hybrid rescue and they said wolves/coyotes/hybrids are all much more afraid of us than we are of them and typically will only attack if they feel they are threatened and have no escape.

    I know a couple guys that have had coyotes follow them out of the woods. And they will attack a human but only if there are 3 or more. I've never heard of someone being attacked by less than that. I'm not saying they can't interbreed but I haven't seen it here. I've seen them in the woods and they don't come too close. They're smart as hell. We've had them 20 yards from camp feeding on gut piles and howling. It's spooky as hell. Woke me up and I was drunk when I went to sleep.

    Like I said this was a pack. Sounded like 5+ howls. My buddy and I were eating a tomato and after they sounded like they were getting closer we high tailed it to my truck then sat there for another 20 minutes listening to them go crazy.

    Haaahahah ya think that's scary? Try sitting in a tree stand out by Fred's camp and they start howling within 100yds right before dark. And you have to get down and walk out of the woods with only a bow.
