Your gonna learn that day. The sand is awesome. The cleaning is not.

The surf is pretty good for fishing. If you have a kayak you can paddle out and drop your lines a good ways and try to catch the big boys like shark and over sized reds/drum. You can also wade out and cast and pick up sand trout or whiting or get lucky and hookup with something big just depends on the conditions. I think xpocad is taking his yak for this trip.

Damn that would be nice if I can get a kayak before this trip. You should bring yours out too!

Boom! Then it's a must. The more poles we have in the water. The bigger the feast.

Haha @xpocad @tacochino Remember the fish sandwiches we made last year? Those went hard!

Sounds like a bunch of saltwater fishermen in the house. That should make the main course easy:)
Only 2 things I hate about wade fishing: jellyfish and that sticky feeling all over my skin after it dries off and nothing but salt is left...
Anybody got a trick for "washing" off at the beach before getting into your truck?

Ooooo I like! Around $170 shipped. It would be badass if we could get group buy deal going.

So is there any back bays or anything like that to fish in? I don't currently have any equipment that's surf worthy.
