Update : ordering a plate bumper from a local company , wait list is about a 6 weeks but I'm fine with that , going to look similar to the elite bumper but with 1/4 inch steel instead of 3/16, excited to finally be able to get one

Thankfully I wasn't , I heard it's supposed to snow next weekend which I hope not because it's gonna be a major gridlock again, probably worse

Nice! Isn't that going to look weird with your body lift or do you no longer have it on?

Alright so after I ordered the bumper yesterday , they started asking me for all these measurements and since they haven't done a tacoma bumper , I'm getting real iffy about it , they told me they can build it without having the truck there and I'm thinking that's not gonna turn out good if you don't have the truck to take measurements and test fit , I pay once they're done but I'm 2 hours away and can't afford to drive up there and have it not fit , I'm considering just canceling the order and picking up a relentless DIY since I know they're work is good

yea i would cancel my order as well..
might want to check this thread out before you make the final decision.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1s...en-offroad-bumper-options-gallery-w-pics.html

i personally would have gone with the addicted off road plate/tube bumper if i had seen it before i got my AP baja bumper..

Thanks for the thread man , yeah I'm pretty sure I'm gonna cancel it and see what else is out there , rather pay more and know that I'm getting a good bumper , I'll be checking around to see what other kinds are available

I was like how you guys gonna build me a bumper without having the truck or measurements , I'll just save up a bit more of my "mod money" and buy one from somebody on here like relentless or elite

No prob. I think I read somewhere elite isn't making bumpers anymore or something after that last GB so it would be awesome if you could get one off someone..

Yeah I really dig the elites but I'll settle for a relentless DIY since they are pretty close in design

That's what Brent thought. Now he wants an elite lol
