I got 33 10.5 tires on my truck and the spare tire looks ugly because of it showing so much because my relentless bumper, should I just removed it and keep a 33" in the box! There is no point in carrying it because I was told it will kill the rear end.

Why no point in carrying a spare? Even the 6, 8, & 10 ply tires can pop especially off road.

so what happens if you pick up a nail and get a flat tire?

who cares if its ugly, you can still use a different sized spare if you need to. i would assume getting home is more important than looking cool

Not permanently. A spare is designed to get you home or to a tire shop which ever is closer.

Ugly!! Function over fashion. The one chance you will need it and it won't be there, I would be pissed off as a passenger if I was stuck in the middle of B-F-Know where, cause that is where shit always goes down!

uh, excuse me, you get a flat, you need your spare, you can run a smaller tire for shorter distances, at least to get to a repair facility...

    was this a trick question?

Find a local tire shop and ask for a used tire that fits yours. I had Toyo MT on my old ranger in 265*75*16. I just went to Les Schwab and had them hook it up with some no name AT the same size. Would have been WAY better than the stock spare tire.

That's stupid small to use as a spare. Your spiders will be crying. Buy a used comparable sized tire to put on that wheel so you have a spare.

I was told to never run smaller because the axles will spin at different speeds. The reason it looks ugly is because I got a relentless bumper and all you see is an old worn out 225 tire sagging.... I love this sites for stupid questions like this, everyone chimes in but when you ask a questions about motor timing or spark issues no one knows fucks all. All I really wanted to know is do I limp my truck home eith a smaller tire and fuck up my rear end and cost $1000 but got my truck home. Or do I leave it and call my AMA and get towed to Mac Donald's drive through then home for $30 a year
