This is true DC power, the truck is the ground. The two wires are power when switch is open and power when switch is closed.

Just grab the two wires from the dome light and you will be good.

Check out my build thread. I regeared to 4.56 and went through 4wheelparts. Cost including a Detroit trutrac LSD was $2500. Pricey but they did an OK job. I run interstate at 75-80mph tach 3k rpm with 31s and get 20-21mpg. With my 33s I get @ 17 mpg. Power difference is substantial. I probably should have done 4.88 because I wheel a lot more than I thought I would and it would have given me more power at trail speed.

There not electric so wouldn't that be considered manual since you have to adjust the glass by hand? I understand there not like the 95-00 manual ones

What does everyone think about a 1st gen taco with a 3rd gen 4runner front end? I think it would look good but im not sure. Also, I like the taco fenders better than the 4runner fenders. Is it possible to keep the taco fenders with the 98-00 corner lights, and a 4runner grill, headlight, hood setup? If that makes sense

4runners are nice! It's a shame you can't find one remotely close to here with a 5 speed and decent frame. They rust holes in them just like the tacos.

I'm gonna try to not make the mistake I made with the tacoma and keep it simple. I've outgrown the extra cab and need more room and a real back seat. Probably gonna be something along the lines of this VVV
