Ah, okay. I was thinking about the rear....

Any thoughts on getting some greaseable main eye bolts? I bought some for when I install my expos.

You're talking to a guy who bent a grade 8, 9/16" bolt on both his front front leaf hangers. I need all the help I can get.

What do you have in there now???? More grade 8's, or are you running F911's now?

Gotcha. Might wanna look into them though. Some companies offer a waranty on them........and now back to the regularly scheduled BoxRocket broadcasting.

I watched your video and the shocks come very close to bottoming. It seems like it would be possible to damage one given a hard enough bump, but if you have been running it like this for a while with no issues, then maybe the spring rate really is progressive enough at the end the travel. Either way, its really darn close. A bit closer than I would be comfortable with.

I'm thinking about options for relocating my rear shocks eventually. Considering the " || " setup like yours but I haven't really made up my mind yet.

Yeah the shocks come close but I positioned them with the new mounts so they don't ever fully bottom out. Also, it doesn't replace a true bumpstop but there is a polyurethane "bump" on the shaft of the shock so give a little cushion to a really hard hit that might get it close to bottoming out.

I have never run them without spacers but I know of other people that have them on their Tacomas without spacers so yes it can be done.

speaking of the 35's.....they're off right now. Headed to the dunes this Saturday with our local club. Could be interesting since it's gonna snow on Friday.

But the dunes run necessitated removing the topper, so that came off last night, and the bedrack is back on for now.

35's will go back on next week until the next wheeling trip which looks to be the end of March.
