Lol I have the tv and can buy what I want. winning! I'm trying to fit this FJ into my fun money budget.

 

Don't forget soon I will have the home theater. It will be worth the wait!

 

So the noise my front driver side is making I can't describe, but it gets worse the more I turn left and goes away the more I turn right. I made an appointment at the dealership to get it looked at cause I just don't know vehicles.

 

You sure you just don't have some snow and ice built up that the tire is rubbing on?

 

I'm getting it pretty bad too. Does it only happen when it's really cold?

Mine almost sounds like ice but everything is clear under there. I'm thinking it's two things that normally rub against each other (like plastic or rubber) that are too stiff to give when it's super cold.

 

True then I'll share with you my secret on movies.

 

This!! I thought I ripped something off and was dragging it through a corner. Stopped looked and it was massive chunk of ice.

 

Thing is its all clear, and there is also a rattling there too.

 

Hmmm... we should make a weekend of it then. :-D

You have a bumper right? What did you do with the plastic wheel well liner? My latest theory, as I sit here inside where its warm, is that it may have to do with the liner. I cut it a bit long and tucked it up above and behind some metal and I wonder if it's being noisy because of the cold. If I gave enough of a crap to go out in this weather I'd go look at it



But I don't yet

 

I checked all that, shook it by hand. While parked I turned my wheel all the way left and all the way right. Nothing I can tell is lose or rubbing.

 

im pretty sure i had some ice in the drain on the front drivers side that was rattling around. left it in the sun and it either melted away or melted and refroze solid. my girls car was seriously messed up from all the snow in the wheel well collecting
