Apparently somebody at the LSU athletics office thought he was.

 

Most schools build profile pages, on all recruits way before signing day. So "if" those recruits come though, they can post them up immediately. Not really sure how/why they would release them early though?

Yeah I know, but somebody clearly was confident that he was gonna pick LSU... or I guess it could have been an accident. Either way it kind of makes the school look foolish.

As for him skipping us for them, we have plenty of depth at corner already, so I was confused to see us going after him anyway. We didn't lose a lot by way of graduation so we don't have a lot of scholarships to give out. Not really upset to see him go elsewhere.

 

It's hard not to be pumped about the coming year after all the changes we had....and having a top 8 recruiting class doens't hurt either.

So true. It's really exciting to see A&M get a top 5 class until you realize your still only the third best class in your own division. I'm still really happy with the talent we picked up.

 

Saw Sumlin went and grabbed a couple of defensive studs. Think they get immediate playing time?
