This is the one I had for more years then I'd care to admit.

I fabbed a couple of early-day go karts with lawnmower engines on them from that design....when I was like 10. Dad saw I'd kill myself eventually and let me buy a proper enduro suzuki at 11 as a result.

The tab from an old-school removable pen cap was the best tool evar for cleaning those rollers.

My grandparents live on a steep hill with a asphalt driveway and big parking area at the bottom. They had a really old bigwheel with solid plastic wheels that I learned to drift on.
My cousin had a power wheels jeep over there too that the gears axle.was stripped out in that was slid and wrecked alot too.

    This one, not so much....

Not saying you're 100% wrong but seems you're just pointing a finger outwardly instead of starting inwardly with your generation

I had plenty of friends that came from fucked up childhoods & homes, they didn't spend alot of time putting blame off on others, they stayed out of trouble, they stayed in school & if school wasn't for them then they went to work... & I knew guys that came from really good homes & upbringing only to be lazy fucking punks, so this is nothing new

I'm 22 and I try to be a productive member of society. While I think alot of people my age or so are pretty much useless turds I also know a good deal that aren't. I'm sure most people try to do there best at life, raising kids, being responsible and not a useless turd. But I do hear older people, that are normally my parents age complaining about young people while they are standing right next to me. They seem to do alot of finger pointing too, most of the younger people they complain about have only had major influence on anything for 5-10 yrs. But they always alktalk about the direction the country is heade a small percentage of the population(young people) grabbed the steering wheel and ran them into the ditch all of the sudden.

Ive never felt any kind of negative vibes on TW like that, its always in person makes me wanna go on my own rant about how rude the older generation is.

P.s. The millennial generation does have some pretty stupid fads and trends. And most would have a nervous breakdown if they lost their cell phone.

    OK, back on track here:

They will never have to hear the phrase:

I think my gen is the begin of the downfall (maybe the gen ahead of mine)....I'm 25 and a senior in college studying pre-law with aspirations of attending law school next year. Some of the people in my classes are just dumb though. I quietly sit back and think, "I would love to go head-to-head against you in a battle for a job." Everyone's walking around with their faces looking like they fell in a tackle box full of fish hooks, they all have the same stupid cliché tattoos, they dress like something out of an 80's Madonna video, and it makes me laugh. I can't wait until all this crazy shit goes out of style and they're stuck there wondering, "What the hell was I thinking? How am I going to explain this nautical star tattoo to my future boss?!" Idiots.

Even the thinking of people in my classes pisses me off. (Although, I admit, I am pretty conservative and believe in hard work and ass-whippings, which 99% of people my age don't.) Everyone acts like everyone is a victim, everyone is so damn politically correct, and everyone is expecting a handout. People try to make me feel like a elitist when I say the US is the best country in the world. Well, ya know what? In my opinion, if your not proud of where you're from, pack your shit and go somewhere else.

Anyway, sorry for my rant. I was in class yesterday and the people in there just really pissed me off lol

I have no idea about web design, But a 12 year old can build their own web page because they learn that in jr high school!

But they dont seem to know what being really dirty is, like actually throwing dirt clods at each other for fun! good ol dirt fight!

Im 31, and that makes me generation X. we were the first to have access to "modern" things like computers, videogames, cell phones etc... BUT WE DIDNT REALLY USE THEM MUCH. computers were too slow, videogames somewhat unreliable (and short you could beat them in an hour then go back out side). Cell phones were wayyy more expensive than we could afford, and coverage was poor. So we had access to all these things, but WERE NOT RELYING ON ANY OF THEM. we worked for a check that we had to take to the bank. nobody purchased anything online...

So, it seems as if my generation is the last to learn things like playing outside, drinking from the garden hose and such.

and we knew what a glossary and index were. we were taught how to open an encyclopedia made of paper!

Heard that! I still drink from the hose and hate video games (except Super Mario on NES, which I still own lol) and am a huge endorser of anything outdoors. I guess I'm not suited for my generation lol. In the words of Phil Robertson:

    Phil is awesome.

His life story is great. His book should be required reading.

I was not aware that any of them could actually form a coherent sentence, much less write a book. I guess congratulations are in order.

Don't be fooled by the Louisiana redneck persona

Phil Robertson is one smart businessman. As is Willie.

The entire family is college educated. Willie and his wife Korie are in a league of their own. Their book is also an excellent read.

:) Here is some 70's high tech that used to be in every other yard.

Most of them are gone now, and the new tech is a bird feeder turned on it's side. :D

I sometimes wish I could live in a older generation. I remember when I was a kid and all I would do was play in the mud and dirt with my toy tractors but now these days the kids my age then have smartphones and don't know how to do anything.
