The coffee is from Hawaii. Today the status says delivered. Nothing at the door so it must still be with the carrier.

 

My Popwas buried but my Mom was cremated. Her wish was to put with my Pop so they dug a hole deep enough and round enough to put the urn in. Like Jim posted, many cemeteries have a vault section for cremations. Chek with your Veterans Cemetery. Salute to you for your service.

 

He already has his box. Wanted to say hi to the neighbors while he still could..

 

Thanks for the input on veteran cremation remains burial. Hopefully I've got 25+ years to sort it out.

Afternoon, everyone!! Spent the last few days in DC for a conference and meetings with members of Congress. High-tailed it out yesterday afternoon and back to northern PA to beat the storm.

We got 8" of snow overnight. Is it summer, yet????

2 out of 3 of my meetings with our local reps were good. Those two are hard-workers and take things seriously. The third is another story all unto itself.

 

Hope you were taken to one of the nice restaurants on Capitol Hill while you were there.

You know Quantico is not that far away if you wanted to outshoot some Marines!

 

We don't have your kind of weather... our snow is all gone . Neither one wanted to stay out last week when it was so cold. Now that it's warmer, they are digging to China looking for Moles Oh, well, can't complain too much since they don't dig out, even though it would be super easy for them to get out with the trenches they have dug.

Can't say as I blame her.

for the cemetary. Folks are both buried in the cemetary on Cape Cod. Up there, cremains are put in the dirt. Separate section from caskets.

Nothing close to me, going to go to Greenville where one son lives.

Hope he gets it.

Morning Cap...I don't think any area is safe this winter...everywhere is getting hit with one problem or another

 

It is a balmy 29° here this morning. The wind was blowing last night and it is getting colder. We keep getting lucky and the worst of these storms stay to the north.

 

Morning Tom, we are a balmy 21* and we are supposed to have a sunny day...be glad when the nice weather gets here

Craziest Winter I've seen in a while. We're down single digit temps overnight. Waiting for the winds to start sometime today. Really could use some snow. Getting very dusty around my house in the valley.
