Or even 2016...

At least my 07 is still current gen.

 

They said in the video that those were the 2015 vehicles

I get that the cool thing now-a-days is to rag on everything, if you don't hate everything, you cant be cool... But come on, these things are pretty good looking and mildly capable trucks. Can you go race baja in one? No, but that's not the market they are targeting. They are just trying to squeeze some excitement out of the segment, and I dig it. I'm not going to run out to Toyota of Des Moines in September and grab one, but if I had 35k to burn, I would look into them.

 

Has nothing to do with hating on something to be popular. It has to do with them making a big hype about it when it's nothing new.

 

trd pro sales will be a disaster

 

They are targeting the general public which don't know any better not fan boys expecting something new like us.

But like chadderdawg if I had money to blow I'd buy them all.

 

What kind of tires were on those TRD-Pros? Doesnt Toyota usually do BFG's?

 

Folks want a Toyota that competes with the Raptor and has the mpg's of Prius

 

Who's hating? Thye mildly changed the suspension, added a grille and new wheels and instead of just keeping the baja name they changed it to Pro.. Its just funny how much hype they made for a name change

 

Okay, doesn't change the fact of what it is, a Baja edition with new paint. I'm not going to hype it up just because it's Toyota.
