Well, mine was whacked today. I took it in for validation that is was OK and it is not. I am now in a rental for up to 30 days awaiting the call from ISG.

I wonder about this whole thing. I know that Tacomas are wildly popular in the Middle East and they pay top dollar. Perhaps the dealerships are in bed with these people. They sell our trucks for $20K and we buy a new one. A win win for them.

It's funny, people who you talk to thing your nuts for feeling bad about loosing a perfectly good truck and getting top dollar for it.

Yeah it's a sad thing, that all these great trucks will be gone. I have a 95 regular cab, I got my offer for the buy-back the other day.

    So what was the offer?

Has anyone turned it down? I do NOT want to do this. I want my truck. I am thinking about getting it looked at by someone else as well.

I have too much money in this thing. I just got the timing belt and water pump changed LAST FRIDAY!!!!

If you want to keep your truck just ask and they will pay to have your frame repaired or changed. :) If you want to have it fixed elsewhere they might pay also.
