You can't get the grille yet. They aren't being released until Fall of this year.

From what I am seeing this new truck is nothing but a dog and pony show to get the price up.

You must be new to cars and how they release. All parts are already tooled up at this point if the vehicle is debuted, even if it's not ready for purchase.

For example: We have 2015 F150 headlights already being passed around.

The guy in the video said it will be a package on the 2015 Tacoma. Dont think we are going to get that remodel we all want.

What are the Michelin ORP tires they are offering on the Trundra? I couldn't find anything about those. Is Michelin trying to offer up a better all terrain tire?[/QUOTE]

I think they are the modified LTX AT2's that Michelin made exclusively for Toyota, they're supposed to be tougher and have better sidewalls than regular AT2's. You can only get them through Toyota if you own a 2014 Tundra. It's actually disappointing they went with the cosmetic 18's and Michelin mall crawlers over the forged 17's and BFG AT's combo of the rock warrior, a step down in off road wheel/tire performance. But it's nice to see the Taco finally went up to 75 sidewalls, that's one difference from the current Baja model.

pretty much. it is a convenient for guys with deep pockets who either don't have the time or desire to upgrade a stock vehicle. It is not surprising that it gets no love around here.

 yes parts get passed around...

that doesnt mean that the dealer already has the parts and part #s for people to just walk in and purchase them already...
im pretty sure theyre going to be a vin # purchase only like they did with the baja

What's interesting is when the Baja came out Toyota claimed that it had the most possible suspension travel. Given that the new truck uses 265/75 versus the old truck's 265/70, I wonder what, if any, changes Toyota made to the Tacoma to fit those tires w/o rubbing.

The other interesting point (don't know if it's been covered yet) is in some pictures the truck has different tires.

    A few bolts are different.
A 265/70/16 tire is a less popular size I believe. Most manufacturers make a more common 265/75/16 size. Nothing would have to be done to fit the 75 0ver the 70 series.

Not a 5100. I can't remember the series number but it is a bit more beefy than a 5100.

Except the 75 series will rub the mudflaps on a stock truck. I'm curious if they have a lower profile mudflap or if the lift is just enough to clear the flap.

    EDIT:

The tires in the suspension photos are Dunlops. I wonder what the actual tire Toyota will ship with will be.
