TRD doesn't make a true beadlock. You may try posting a picture of the wheels your are looking for, as well as posting this in the marketplace rather than the 2nd gen section.

I think he's referring to the Baja grey beadlock rim. The one that you can't buy from Toyota without a Baja VIN, and even then you only can get 1 at a time.

Right, I'm looking for the Baja edition rims that Toyota will not sell to me. So frustrating!

Yeah it is. I wanted to buy a set too, but all you can find are the black or bronze (from Toyota).

Good luck, only one or two members on here have been able to get them, and that was back around when the Baja first came out.

Even the black ones are on lock down. I did have good luck with TRDParts4U though when it came to ordering mine. But, they told me getting the grey wheels were damn near impossible.

    Good luck

Yeah, one guy had a friend who worked at the parts counter and was able to get one every few months. The other I know of had a local dealer than had a spare set for some reason.

I had read that you couldn't order 4 at a time unless you had a police report or an insurance report or something explaining why you needed more than one.

I tried offering the parts guy some extra cash when I went looking for the gray ones for my truck and still hit a dead end. Used is going to be your only source really.

I've never really even thought about selling the gray bead locks off my 2013 Baja, but if someone made a strong enough offer I might consider it. They have just under 6K miles on them.

It makes sense in a way, to keep the halo model "separate" from the rest of the models.

GM was notorious for doing this as far as allowing someone to build a clone of the "halo" model w/o all of the pieces, thus on some level cheapening the model. It's like people who put STi wings on WRX/NA Imprezas. It has the look, but it's not necessarily the real model.
